One Week Old Precious Baby Boy - Building Relationships | San Francisco Newborn Photographer

I first met this wonderful family when I photographed their Gender Reveal Party and witnessed with them, their family, and closest friends that they were expecting a….BABY BOY! It was an honor to document this special time and icing on the cake meeting him a few months later for an in-home lifestyle newborn session. I spent years as an early childhood special educator and early interventionist and countless hours getting to know families in their homes, so I feel right at home during in-home newborn sessions and family sessions. Capturing relationships, connections, everyday moments and details is what drives me. What could be better than photographing those early memories building your relationship with your new baby and growing family?

We scheduled our session when this precious baby boy was just over a week old, which is a perfect time for a newborn session. Babies are still very sleepy, parents have had a week to settle in and establish some routines (as much as you can with a newborn!), and they are still tiny at this stage so perfect to document before they change! We followed his lead to keep everyone calm and captured sleepy and wakeful moments and lots of sweet snuggles that I hope his family will cherish.
